Yes, I created the GAvSim, Gaia's first avatar simulation program. Sadly, it is dead and will likely stay that way. The address changed because a squatter sniped the domain name from me just as it was expired. If you really want to see the site as it was last, you can find it here, just be aware that the page counters are all broken (and therefore I end up yelling at myself). I'll fix them eventually, I'm just lazy.

If I have declined your friend request, it's likely because I have absolutely no idea who you are, and I had a bunch built up from while I was away. Sorry.

The custom avatar is done using CSS. Pie32 has a thread linked in his profile that has the code used to insert a custom graphic in place of your avatar. You'll find that thread here.

I just wanted to say, I had a look at GAvSim today (just wanted to test out some of the Egyptian beds) and even though it's not working now, I had such a strong feeling of nostalgia! 4laugh

Thank you so much for the time you spent making it. I remember spending hours on it, creating my home, because 1k wasn't easy to come by back then and so I had to choose my furniture carefully! rofl

So yeah - just wanted to say thank you. 4laugh heart
