" well your welcome here any time- i enjoy having some one as lovely as you to converse with" he smiled sweetly at her. "anything else? there are so many things- o like the entities that reside in my niece and nephew, hope and jacob.... later we find out that they were greek gods....jacob was born with hades and hope has hera- mother earth is very tempermental.. so it seems." he rolled his eyes at hopes irradic nature.
John sighed and took another tentave sip. " but hope is a teenager, and her emotions are confusing enough for her as it is, eh?"

well the reservation was placed, deliberatly, upon a spiritual nexus, that connects us to the celestial realm.." he paused a moment before going on. "when we are sent on our spirit quests we are bonded with a celestial being but there are two kinds- entities and beings- the beings are our spirit guides. the entities must be born into us and bond with us mind body and soul.. does that make sense at all ?" he asked taking another sip. " we are sent on spirit quests when we come of age by the tribal elders who are the same as my family- quite immortal- yes- i supose 'immortal' suits us.." he nodded to himself. a smile creeping up the sides of his mouth. he sniffed the air around them seemingly enjoying the pleasent smell emanating from her. she had a very nice aura about her.

johns expression was a mixture of suprise as he struggled with a response to it. "Oh, hahahah!" he gave the same hearty laugh as his brothers had earlir that day. " no its not the water, im afraid, i supose it could be our healing factors or possibly the ammount of power our body's can with stand... it does seem that most of us are immortal, eh? " he gave her a sly grin in response. he blew some steam off his tea. giving a look that his niece had often expressed, he almost seemed mildly interested in the steaming hot glass. " but im sure it is the position of out reservation.. it has been placed in this very spot for a reason you know," john raised his eyebrows at her from over his glass in a knowing sort of way.

he cleared his throat, giving him a moment as to where he should begin. " we, mostly my mother and father have been on this earth since around the time of the english settlers- so to speak.." he began, as he himself took a tentative sip. through out the years- or should i say centuries my siblings and i have been born. samuel being the oldest..and hope's mother- my sister being the youngest and most recent.." he paused as though he were trying to visualize everything once more. Maria was born in the mid 1900's on this reservation to be exact.." he peered momentarily at sage as he took another cautious sip of his hot tea.

he motioned for her to have a seat at the small round table just a few steps away. " ill go and let everyone know that jimmy will live to cause more chaos.." chief red bear chuckled as he made his exit.
"this may be a long story- you never know..." he paused as he set a glasson the table in front of her and another where he would be sitting. " would you like the whole un edited truth? i belive thats much better then me telling another lie to another outsider.." he sighed a bit emotionally tired from jimmy's present condition. he took the second tea pot and began to pour a little of its contents into each glass.. before seating himself.

he gave her a look of great interest and amazement. " what an amazing talent!" he grinned enthusiastically. he pushed his glasses slightly up the bridge of his nose once more. " then he should awake on his own then,eh?" john glanced expectantly at jimmy over on the examination table.
