~Feeling~
So this is the feeling
That people call love
Among all of the pigeons
She is the dove
Soaring higher and higher
Into the sky above
Over the cloud
That she is queen of
Her smile bright as the sun
It makes everything else a fuzz
Her scent sweet as honey
Collected by a bee's buzz
Her eyes glistening in the light
They make another wish she never was
Unable to reach her
A fleeing dove
But as long as her light shines on others
I will be happy for her because
This is the feeling
That people call love

~Cloud~
Staring into the clouds all day
Watching the different shapes they make
Only they're not so different
As the clouds shift,
I can only see a different variation
They all connect to the same thing
I continued to watch
Wishing for one thing
That it wasn't so far away
That I could reach out and grab it
That I could have it to hold
I'll take it everywhere I go
With it I'll never part
If only I could have it
A flower, a dove, your heart

~Chasing Cars~
A walk down the street
The dirt on my feet
The dove flies away
The cloud turns to grey
The flowers are taken
The rain awakens
The rain soaks my head
Not much to be said
The memory lingers
Rain falls through my fingers
She takes her leave
A heavy burden I heave
The rain begins to lighten
She leaves me frightened
The rain falls hard from my face
As I start a new race
I watch it drive off from afar
I'll spend my life chasing cars

~Guilt~
This odd feeling
Swelling up inside
So much shame
I need to hide

I made her cry
I made her break
This odd feeling
Has stirred awake

Apologies
They do not cure
My weak heart
The guilt will injure

Her crying face
Each tear that falls
My heart bleeds
The siren calls

I cannot bear it
This pain I feel
Pain inside
My skin peels

Face to face
I confront this guilt
To withstand this

The battle lost
