I plan to write about whatever the heck pops in my head. Whether it be inspired or just news. Hope you all enjoy!
A Rose Forbidden
On the 22nd day of the month of Jairda, 847
My heart speaks to me as if it would burst. These past few years have been full of hardship, the war raging on around me, seeming without end. However it seems that it is at last been finished. Andrew and I have long awaited this day when swords, daggers, and the weapons of war may be at last put aside. It is with good fortune and happiness that this evening approaches me for the celebrations planned after the treaty is signed are like none this weary nation has seen in centuries.
When I awoke in Andriddeans’ arms this morning I felt our child move within me. I feel her excitement…and despite what our fortune-speakers may foretell, I know that our beautiful child will be a girl. She is as ready to take our world by storm as I am weary of being unable to view her. I yearn to hold my child in my arms and croon to her the songs of my homeland, our songs of joy, of victory, of peace. I know that my darling Larmesana Lionette Mistarrae Desonne Bacarme will live up to her namesake and truly bring happiness to those she meets. May her path be easy and her burdens be light, my daughter shall be perfect.
Already I have her name chosen… I smile to myself now at the name I have told our fortune-speakers, to appease their ill-rest at the child’s namelessness. They refuse to believe that they are wrong, and that the child I bear is male and that without name his life would be wrought with pain and misfortune if I held off naming him a moment longer. They were overjoyed with the name I gave them… though I remained haunted after having deceived them in my intentions for my child’s name. They believe that the prince of our newly at peace nation shall be called Darien Desmister Largonste Mesarget Bacarme. A worthy name, meaning ‘Prince of the heavens,’ ‘Dragon of Emeralds,’ and ‘Child of grace,’ yet I believe it nothing to Larmesana
