Campus In Chaos

Rudeness, profanity, unkindness, inhumanity.
Laziness, apathy, which leads to incapacity.
So much education, so little appreciation.
Seeking popularity, devoid of all sincerity.
Perfection at all cost, hope is gone, innocence lost.
Media garbage is one of the causes of
shredded self-esteem and tragic losses.
So much anger, so much violence,
values forbidden, morality silenced.
Chasing, yearning, rarely learning.
False impressions, mass depression.
Exaggeration, false pride, the plastic smile, suicides.
Gossiping, false witness, friendships lost, bitterness.
Dirty looks, rolling eyes, never fail to criticize.
Under scrutiny, missing opportunity.
So many outcasts in the dark,
scarred by intolerance’s burning mark.
A generation on the verge of crumbling,
struggling through life, tripping, falling, stumbling.
Like rats in a maze, walking in a haze,
a pack of animals trapped in one cage.
For all the technology, where is the apology?
Is there no solution to this social pollution?
We can end the degradation
of our generation,
by speaking out, standing tall,
it starts with one...to change us all.
