The trick I learned for that transition is to focus on the hip on the lower leg. Instead of having the lower leg straight out, such that the heel of the pointed toe is facing to the side, you want to turn at the hip in order to get that heel facing slightly more upward. Think like how you would have to rotate that lower hip in order to get it more into a position for Russian Fish. Once the hip is rotated out a little more for that pose, you already have it in position for bringing the upper leg down into your Superman. It's still gonna be painful, as all superman positions are until you've gone dead inside conditioned the skin in that area for the move, but it makes it hella easier to have the hip already in position such that you don't have to rub across all that skin to get into the final pose. I mean, you totally can if you want the "look" of doing a transition that quickly, but I personally prefer to cheese it for the sake of saving my skin. lol
Anyway, I'm currently working on a Pegasus thread through into Swimmer transition. Pegasus is probably my favorite move at the moment, so I'm hoping to get down several cool variations and transitions with it to work into a full combo. c:
