"Record what you can and find what you can, I'm afraid. As much as its tempting, I can't allow you guys to use illegal evidence to support your claims. People already don't like us because of the amount of corruption these days. You know that." She opens the door and ushers the two detectives out, whispers sweet things to the kittens, hits the lights, and locks up.
"I have to go and find Resurgam Hospital, now. Never stepped foot into the place, I'm afraid. You two know what to do. I'll inform the head commissioner that I'll be out for a couple of hours. He'll assign one of the other assistant commissioners to our floor. Good luck." And with that does she leave the detectives to their own devices, carting herself off to the elevator.
Robin then turns around. "Feel free to open up that manila folder and browse through the information. Make copies and return it to me when you're done, though. I didn't get a chance to go through it in detail. And don't ask Roderick to help you, he's officially off of the case. Right now damage control and clarification is important."
She goes over to her coat rack to shrug on her jacket and retrieve an empty suitcase to put the evidence in. "If Erhard shows up at all today for classes or anything, just show up as interested classmates. He can't say no to that."
"Yup, him. Roderick returned here with not only his friend as a witness to some footage, but confiscated evidence without a warrant. Although I'm going to return it, I want the both of you to keep an eye on Erhard for me. See if his behavior changes specifically and make sure to jot down anything else that strikes you as odd."
"Part of it does, but the main focus is on a suspect. His name is Erhard Muller. I'm sure you remember seeing him around the floor. Black hair, red eyes, black and red cleric uniform..."
The said woman was now facing the window, hands folded behind their back for the detectives to see. The evidence that the two men left behind were still fresh on her table. "Roderick, Meyer. I have a specific assignment that I need you to be diligent on."
A message was left on Renee's home phone. "Hey, Renee. Its Meyer. Just calling to say sorry about your lunch. Stop by my desk whenever you can, I want to give you something."
