Story of why Karin trained so hard and is now one of the most powerful demons alive:
Karin was born to two very powerful demon parents. Her mother was bitten by a vampire, and so the vampire part was passed onto Karin when she was born. When Karin was about 4 in the early 1400s, her mother went to see a powerful dark witch, who cured Karin's mother of being a vampire using black magic. But the witch could do nothing for Karin, who was born a vampire. One night Karin's mother went out to go pick up a necklace, that was crafted for Karin. When she came home she found an angry crown, holding crosses, pitch forks, torches, and wooden stakes. She slipped threw the back door and found Karin's father hiding Karin in a hidden room. The crowd had reason to believe that Karin's loving parents were vampires. (Which they weren't.) The crowd berst threw the two heavy wooden front doors and killed Karin's parents. She blames herself for their death. She believes they died because of her curse.
