Hey Comrade, good to see another ally of the Proletariat. Comrade Lenin was a truly great man, and it's good to see someone out there besides myself who isn't afraid to honor him.



On the other hand, I don't know if I agree with your support of the USSR. While the conditions therein were obviously blown out of proportion by the capitalist media--I once knew a man who lived there for the first half of his life, he loved it--I would say that the governmental system it used was nothing even resembling true communism. True communists do not put single people on the top, with a lot of power...in fact, the office of "Premier" or "General Secretary", in true communism, would be simply an advisory position. The real power would be with the legislature. Moreover, true communists do not restrict freedom of speech, religion, or the press, nor do they engage in warfare or move people about within the country against their will. In fact, I would go so far as to say that the post-Lenin USSR was "communist"--and, by extension, "democratic" in the same way that Saddam's Iraq was a "republic."
