Hiya Gaians! I'm The Brown Princess. I am 23 and am lucky enough to finally have a part time job after a year of being a bum in my parents house. ^_^
I am a musician, writer, artist, geek, and tree-huger.
I am a dreamer who can't decide what to be when I grow up. For now I will take steps towards all my goals till a clearer or obvious path presents itself.
I like making music, writing (poetry, stories, and lyrics), drawing, designing clothes, making crafts (cross-stitching, jewelry), and baking. I also like studying mythology, folklore, and religion as well as ancient history. I like to travel and learn about all the different cultures of the world. Unfortunately I suck at learning languages. I'm better at remembering customs than vocab, and try my best not to act like a "stupid American" when I travel.
My geekery is in Anime & Manga, Comics, Cartoons, Fantasy & Sci-fi (books & TV), video games, and musicals.
When it comes to song writing, right now my boyfriend is my greatest muse. heart I'm trying to write down all the melodies for my lyrics I've written (not just the ones about my bf) and figure out which chords go best with them. When I've improved my music writing skills I want to start a band called Ironn Pixies. I'm also trying to learn how to make sewing patterns, so I can sew clothes I've designed. Hopefully I'll be able to sell my clothes one day. That's two of my dreams. sweatdrop I know it's hard to make it as a musician and I don't know much about starting a business, but I see no reason to ever give up on my dreams. For now I'm looking for work that will pay the bills, but my free time is for working towards my dreams. heart
