Yeah, I quested for a month to buy my gogh reed, these days they don't release items that are worth questing really, so I've just been knocking out my wishlist. I'm quite pleased with the fact that I'm over halfway to completing my wishlist now. 3nodding

Huh, that sounds kinda cute. I'm not really looking to get into any new online games atm since I'm pretty busy with school and all, but maybe someday I'll check that out. I think any of the games that have an open marketplace where users buy and sell items among themselves that happens. I'm also on recolor.me and they don't have the economy issues there because the items are pretty much available to everyone if they log in and post or play games often enough and there is no trading or selling of items among players.

I don't mind that the chance items show up all the time now, I don't like that the odds of winning are so low and that a single "try" can cost as much as six dollars. I mean if they were cheaper I might consider buying one, maybe, but honestly the reason I haven't bought gcash in a really long time is because they killed zOMG and before they did that they acted like they were going to work on it, adding equip-able creatures (hinting that one day they might actually do something in-game), a new area and new level of power to the rings. All while knowing that they didn't actually know how to work on the game because they had by that point already fired all the devs that knew the games coding. It's that sort of dishonesty that makes me unwilling to spend my hard-earned money on this site, I feel like one day we'll come here to check on whatever and the site simply won't exist anymore or that they will have made changes that are so awful no one wants to come back here.

As for the EI, those aren't even worth it anymore, the price tag on them verses the number of settings your getting doesn't balance out at all. I remember when a five dollar EI would have no less than thirty poses by the time it was finished and they were all beautiful and well-thought out. These days the items are rarely even shaded correctly, never mind the color schemes actually matching something you own.

There is quite a few things on there though, anyways I don't think ti's that you've lost that ability but rather that Gaia has released so many items and recolors of items that it's become impossible for someone to know them all. Plus with the way they spam announcements now most of us don't even look at them anymore.

I see, well that's good, I've never really understood why some gamers do that, it'd be like a watercolor painter ridiculing an india ink artist saying that their's is the only true art form.

I would investigate Steam, but as I've said before the computer I'm using is not mine, I don't have permission to download anything to it. Maybe if I find myself with some free time after school I'll look into it, but honestly I have trouble imagining having that sort of free time....I usually just have this page open in the background while I do homework and studying.

As for those, no problem, I'll get more gold, it's replaceable. I'm just glad you like them that much. 3nodding I did feel super bad about hurting your feelings too, so it was worth it.

You didn't have to send me anything....but wow, you somehow magically knew what I was currently after on my list! Thanks, now I can finally do this! *changes avi*

Saying that my opinion is rude, when it is merely an opinion and by that very nature can be neither wrong/right or technically speaking rude. Saying my tone is pretentious and your comment at 04/09/2016 10:28 am where you said I should, "I'd, you know, actually consider playing some games before you completely write them off" implied that the one game I do currently play is not a game in your eyes and therefore your implied I should be playing what you play. All that aside, you do you, okay? I'll do me and hopefully we can move on. I don't want to lose a friend over something as silly as, "oh our hobbies aren't exactly the same".

As it took you two years to get your handheld, you can probably understand why someone who's more interested in other things wouldn't want to do that. I'm looking at it as, "hmmm, parts and repairs for my bicycle or some game I may not even like." Obviously I'm going to pick the expensive thing I know I like over the expensive thing I might not like, most people would. It's that simple really. I didn't mean it to be offensive.

Anyhow, I didn't mean to be flippant either, I just am not into the whole gaming thing, it's a odd thing to me since I've technically never been truly into it even back in the days of arcades. Of course you can like what you like, I'll stick to liking what I like and hopefully we can be friends over stuff that we share. Like Gaia (even if your barely here anymore your still here pretty often), reading (since your a writer) and whatever else we both may like. I still think your pretty alright, and I'm glad your not mad. (Did you get your presents I sent as I'm sorry gifts? Blew most of my gold on you since I felt bad for hurting you. sweatdrop ) I did tell you I have the personality of sand paper, didn't I?

Your not going to insult me and run away like a child on the playground, well I suppose you could always "ignore me" but point is your being rude too.

These are reasons I do not personally play a lot of modern games and reasons I wouldn't play those examples of yours, I did not call it a waste of time again, because I am sorry about that. I know a lot of people who love games just as much as you do, and I am legitimately sorry about saying that now that I've had time to think about it and all. However this doesn't mean you can magically force someone to like something just because you do. I'm surprised your lumping in games like Lake Kindred with everything else, since prior to that comment you acted like I play no games, even though you knew I played that. Which sounded a lot like someone who does expect a person to go out and buy some expensive console game, like the all ones you mentioned. (If those are available for less than ten dollars and and without a download, since this isn't my computer to download things to. Than feel free to correct me.) I think this might just be a giant misunderstanding, since prior to this we got along just fine......anyways since you don't want to play LK, I'm going to send you a couple of things....as legit I am sorry for being an a** presents. Hopefully you will forgive me and we can move on from this peaceably like the intelligent grown-ups we both are.

I'm not going to go out and spend a hundred to two hundred dollars trying to get into something I probably won't even like, I am sorry that my thoughts on the matter hurt your feelings but games aren't for everyone. (Contrary to the "E" rating some of them have.) Especially modern games.

For example I love going out on walks, but I would never play Journey because, as even you have mentioned, it is sad. Just like how I wouldn't watch a sad movie or read a depressing book, if I want to cry I can take a good look at my standings in life currently and probably find valid reason to weep. If I want to go for a walk and just wander until I'm too tired to wander any further I can, I can go out and see rainbows, tiny flowers, streams and all the nature I can stand if I so chose and take photos to share with my friends. So why would I play such a game? (I've lived in deserts before and seen them in great detail too btw.)

I happen to like books because they have great potential to expand your knowledge and vocabulary, plus after you are through reading them you can create art based off of what you read. If a book is particularly deep it may leave you pondering questions about things in life that you may not have thought to contemplate before. What's great about all this is that books are widely available for free or less than ten bucks at any used book store, unlike the modern games, they are available to anyone with a library card and a will to read.

As for the game industry, these are the same people who pretty much only just recently realized female gamers exist and have yet to really figure out what to do with them. I read my brother's subscription to Game Informer sometimes (just to see if there's anything that I might like, and thus far all I've seen of potential interest is mine-craft and I don't have a computer of my own to play it on so it's a moot point) and plenty of people I know play games so I do kinda have a reasonable idea of what's going on in that field, I just don't like it. My friends have tried to get me into it a few times, my brother has tried to get me into games a couple times, current games come with controllers that have buttons spaced too far apart, require you to have intimate knowledge of modern game mechanics that if you haven't been playing them for the last ten years are guaranteed to make no sense to you, and are frequently frustrating to the point that I'd rather do homework than play them. Plus as you've mentioned a lot of them have gone multiplayer so then on top of all that you have a group of strangers mad at you for not knowing how to play. Again games are not everyone's cup of tea and I've gotten along just fine without them now for a long time. I did finally get my hands on an N64 (which was pretty much something I had wanted since it came out and my friends had it back in the day) a few years ago and I feel like that and Mario Kart, Castlevania, Mario Party, and Pokemon Stadium are pretty much the only games I'll ever want. (I can play them when my friends come over and it becomes a social thing, even single player games we can take turns at.)

Also I should mention that while I liked arcades as a kid I was almost always the one who had no quarters and just stood by and watched other people play, while my Mom went grocery shopping nearby. Modern games have never been truly accessible to me and even if they were at this point my experiences with my friends handing off controllers to me has resulted in a distaste towards the entire thing. I'll stick with rare visits to arcades with a friend and my outdated N64. Modern games don't appeal to me, it's fine if you like them (and have the money to spend on them), but you can't expect everyone to see them the way you do.

Fair enough and that's what I figure too, if I can earn the money to make it on my own than I have no reason to pursue a romantic relationship with anyone. 3nodding (Particularly since I don't want children.)

Your right I haven't, they are too expensive so really even though it's apparently more social now than it used to be I still don't see the point in spending all that money on something that is literally designed to waste my time and make me want to buy more things to go with it.

I like this site because even though they are pushing the gcash pretty hard it's still not required to enjoy the site, and I like the Kindred game because it is free and I do enjoy it, besides the fact that it's a simple way to earn gold and items. (I've probably kept more of the items than I've sold.... sweatdrop ) Overall the things online that get my attention are the ones that are free, fun and not too time consuming. If I can feel like I enjoyed it in thirty mins or less it's perfect for me because I don't have the hours normal games require for you to get anywhere with them.
