hi I'm Amanda, you can call me Kira, I going to put the storys I wright in my Journal, but they're not done yet so you can read what I have so far,
"You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
Apparently, he has been a murderer from the beginning and he is the father of lies. He is also the accuser of believers.
And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying,
“Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night.
“And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.
Satan is also the one who tempts people; he is the tempter.
Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
And after He had fasted forty days and forty nights, He then became hungry.
And the tempter came and said to Him, “If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”
But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD.’”
We are also tempted by our own lusts.
Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone.
But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust.
Then when lust has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and when sin is accomplished, it brings forth death.
Essentially? Satan is quite evil. You could say he is the embodiment of that, but it's not the same as many people seem to see it. It's not like in horror movies where demons have some kind of power and even your prayers won't matter and the demons are so strong and God pretty much doesn't do anything. It's not like there is going to be this big battle between God and Satan and some people will fight for God and others for Satan and it could go either way.
If anything? This would be about the extent of a "battle" between God and Satan.
When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison,
and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore.
And they came up on the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, and fire came down from heaven and devoured them.
And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
Yeah... they had numbers like the sand of the seashore. So many men in their army, they were so big and so powerful. They just surrounded the beloved city and what happened? They were devoured by fire. That's it. The end. As far as demons being all "big and bad" and mocking God (making fun of Jesus, etc.) and terrorizing humans: invoking fear and seeming to have no fear of their own? Not at all true.
You believe that God is one. You do well; the demons also believe, and shudder.
Not only do demons actually believe in God but they are also afraid of Him: they shudder, they tremble in fear of God. Have you ever heard the famous quote "We are Legion."? It comes from the Bible. This is an account of that.
No, no. I don't think you've thought too much about this. I'll try to answer what I can. Please, bear with me on these verses. This may be long. God willing, you'll be able to understand.
also we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to His purpose who works all things after the counsel of His will,
From this? We see that God works everything after the counsel of His will. He makes it all work according to His purpose. Nothing happens that He didn't plan: you can't surprise God.
Psalm 33:10, 11
The LORD nullifies the counsel of the nations; He frustrates the plans of the peoples.
The counsel of the LORD stands forever, The plans of His heart from generation to generation.
Again, the counsel of the Lord, which it says stands forever. The plans of His heart from generation to generation, which is to say, the plans of the Lord's heart stand from generation to generation.
The mind of man plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps.
A man in his mind may plan his way, but the Lord directs his steps: God determines what happens.
Many plans are in a man's heart, But the counsel of the LORD will stand.
God's purpose always stands. He has indeed planned everything out, He knew it all from the beginning and has worked it all according to His plan.
Declaring the end from the beginning, And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, 'My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure';
He has declared the end from the beginning, He knows all things.
1 John 3:20
in whatever our heart condemns us; for God is greater than our heart and knows all things.
Yes, God does indeed know everything before we do it. He even causes us to move and be alive at all, He even causes men to sin (He Himself, however, does not tempt any man) and do good. However... even with all of this? You may be tempted to say "God is the cause of all the evil; men just do what God say". That would be a wrong assumption. The truth is, we do indeed have free will. You are responsible for your evil, it's your fault. God will punish you for this evil.
"But it shall come about, if you do not obey the LORD your God, to observe to do all His commandments and His statutes with which I charge you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:
So, what does it say here? If you do not obey. So, apparently, they can disobey. All men are disobeying God... although God is causing everything, men are still in disobedience. God will destroy men for their own evil.
Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
“For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, slanders.
Thus I will punish the world for its evil And the wicked for their iniquity; I will also put an end to the arrogance of the proud And abase the haughtiness of the ruthless.
The truth is, you cause yourself to sin. You cause your own evil, from your own evil heart: you are not good at all but very evil. How can you cause your own sin but God causes you to sin? Maybe these things are hard to understand. You see someone say "It's free will" and another say "we have no free will, it's all God". Actually, both are true, though difficult to comprehend or explain. How can it be both? Maybe that makes no sense to you.
Looking at them, Jesus said, "With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God."
All things are possible for God. So, God is capable of doing both: nothing is too hard for Him. The problem i
