Hi my name is Connie and as you can see i love to write. Writing is the one way I know how to express myself. Whats yours? Along with writing i love art and drawing, i may not be the greatest but I love to do it. I also love photography capturing moments that can last forever and my favorite photographer is Ruberman Rodriguez he inspires me to do more then just take a pic but to make it into something amazing and beautiful. What are the things you love to do? You see you don't have to be amazing at something, you just have to have a passion for it. No matter what anyone says, as long as you love doing it you will succeed. well don't be afraid to say hi.

Stitched lips

I waited for years
for you to finally hear
those words that didn't seem so clear
I tried to speak to your broken ears
But they refused to listen

I was drowning in the misery
that could not yet be spoken
my tears dripping
because everything in life had seemed so broken
I came to you with all this pain
but your ears stitched my lips
so the vibration of my words
Could not penetrate your inner thoughts.

A part of me had yearned for your empathy
To teach me all the things I could not see
To open your heart
and to let me breathe.
To use the key to unlock
the cage that had surrounded me
But I was trapped
deep with in myself
cause this could not be
It had to take some one else
to use that key
The only one
that wanted to listen.

They opened their ears
to my misery
and allowed it to be spoken
They wiped my tears that had slowly dripped
and showed me more to life
then this brokenness
I went to them with all my pain
They finally unwoven those stitches
that had a stronghold on my fragile lips.
Allowing the vibration of my broken words
to penetrate their deepest thoughts
Letting my words pour out like the rain
Because finally some one had choose to listen
to what I had to say.
