Yeah I mean that was for the one I went too that is all we got to keep from it was the degree and knives, no books or nothing. The thing with Culinary is you need connections to make it into a lot of place and you have to kiss a** some and I do not do the latter so it is harder.

If you really want to get some experience under your belt, if you have any free time go to some local mom and pop places and ask if you can do like some volunteering there to get some experience and learn some things. Just tell them you want to get into cooking but know nothing and wanted to know if you can work with them a day or two a week and kind of learn things, like an apprentice type deal. If they truly love to cook they would gladly teach you, it is an amazing feeling to run into people that really want to learn the trade and being able to help them is stuff we love to do.

Has it been that long since we talked? I could of swore we talked since like May of last year at least once. Yeah I finished, have every letter from June 03 to this months I think. I have 2 full 03 sets as of right now actually. I will have to go find the pictures and link you to them.

Oh that is very cool. What all do you do? I love Culinary but going to school isn't worth it. I have a $15,000 piece of paper and a $15,000 knife set since that is all I got to keep from school after my $30,000 debt. Lol. You learn it all out in the field, the school is nice but honestly not worth it at all, if you can get into a kitchen without it and work your way up do it that way.

Unveiling

I made a thread a week or so back trying to downsize it some, pushing like 875 letters as of right now. Just looking to share my love of letters with others is all.
It is a nice trade to have but going to school for it was a big mistake. What do you do, I am sure I might be jealous of it as well.
