Hey ho. My name's Cat, AKA Nem/Elfy/Mini-Duff, I'm 20 years old, and I live in England.What do I do all day? I'm currently a philosophy student at university (heh...my friends did always tell me I think too much). When I'm not sitting on my arse thinking about stuff, I like to spend my time doing creative things like art, playing in my band, and attempting to write novels.
ART
I started drawing seriously when I was about 12 and an art teacher at school told me I had potential. I don't study art any more but I love to do it in my spare time; These days I do digital art (hooray for Photoshop) and draw mainly fantasy/sci-fi type things. WRITING
I've always loved writing, and I can't actually remember a time when I DIDN'T write. I'm working on quite a few projects at the moment; one is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi kinda deal; the other is an urban/modern fantasy series which I've been writing for the past 5 years. XD I don't write much that isn't fantasy...I guess reality just bores me after a while.
MUSIC
Probably my most time consuming hobby XD I've been playing guitar since I was 15 and bass since I was 16. In 2006 I worked on a lil' solo project, but now I'm in a band. We're called Honor Bound, we play mainly thrash, and I'm the bassist. We don't have a website at the moment, but we're working on some original materials at the moment. I'm not the main lyricist in the band (I tend to take care of music rather than words), but I have written a song about zombies.
As for what I actually listen to, I'm fond of most types of rock and metal: while I don't listen to much outside rock and metal, my tastes within this spectrum are pretty broad. My favourites include:

OTHER STUFF
Aside from these hobbies, I love going to gigs, clubs and parties, spending time with my friends, reading anything I can get my hands on, RPing (D&D for the win!), LARP, annoying my neighbours with my music, and baking chocolate chip cookies.
APPEARANCE...STUFF.
Ee. Well...basically, I look a bit like my Gaia avatar, really. I do have big, dyed-bright-red 80s hair, I'm usually seen wearing an old, 80s biker jacket, a bandana, tight jeans, band T-shirts, and big boots. Ee. I'm a time traveller from the era of cheesy 80s hair metal.
I'm also short. Really, really short.
