WHAT THE--?! * Ears fly back to press against Aiden's skull and the calico's tail floofs up to twice it's size, thoroughtly startled by the sudden high-pitched squeal of delight from the waitress. His heart racing in his chest, he blinked twice, and exchanged glances between the kitsune and the human female * Wha...wait...huh? I'm...going to take a guess here...and say you two know each other pretty well?

Oh, it's a charming corner cafe. They serve mostly hot and cold beverages and baked goods. Or at least, that's all I really ever order from the place. * he'd glance past Murdoc's shoulder breifly, waiting for the waitress to come by and take their order *

(( Hehe, really now? If you had mentioned it before, I had totally forgot. As I'm sure you've noticed, Aiden has no fear of dogs save for those that need to be feared, and he's quite fond of water. But he does have his cat-like tendancies. X3 ))

Heh, yeah. ^^ And thanks. * Stepping past the kitsune, the bakeneko would glance about the place-- mostly empty, save for a few customers. But at this hour, he supposed that was to be expected. Patiently, and polite as was his nature, he'd await to be seated. *

Well, tomorrow's my last day on the job. Tomorrow I get to go home and see...someone I really care about. * He chose his words carefully-- after all, he'd rather not lose a friend just as he'd made one. Grinning, he tucked his arms back and interlaced his fingers behind his head, looking up at the sky with a grin and a purr lacing his voice * Besides, it's a beautiful night, I'm about to have one of the tastiest omlettes there are, and I've managed to make a new friend. What's not to be in a good mood about?

Heh. Between my job and my work-- two different things entirely, I assure you-- I'm afraid I don't get much time to myself these days. It's a nice change of pace, making a new friend. Hey, mind leading the way to the diner? I've only visited this town on a few occasions, and I'd hate to get us lost somehow. sweatdrop
