Yes! That's why it was so weird to me! And the legs and arms were a different texture too! It looked really refined and doesn't really match up with the body. Oh well. Now I'm hunting for cheap legs while lurking.

Haha! You're good. I totally get you. It's really nostalgic when you look at it that way. Wow. Who would've known that Gaia of all places kinda molded us to who we are today.

That's a great metaphor! It really feels that way whenever I retrace my steps on this site. Granted things are still pretty janky, but I'm happy this place still exist. Because of what we wrote back then is still archived here. Even though I'm not an active user, I still love Gaia and I don't want it to die.

Oo~ You're a lot more interactive than me. Those are pretty funny topics to get involved in. I've also been browsing the art pages. I'm kinda tempted to open an art shop since I never got to do it back in the day. And I'm pretty confident of my art skills compared to back then. However the issue is I don't know how to pricing works since the economy is confuse af. Also, I don't know what to use the gold/plant with. And.. I shouldn't get distracted until I'm done with my art projects irl. sweatdrop

Right? I think manage to fulfill wish list items and dream avi because the inflation was so crazy and the one I wanted wasn't hot ticket items. It's was the evolution and cash shop items.
I feel when they converted into platinum, it definitely helps because it's a lot easier to track compare to gold currency. No doubt, it still needs fixing, but I'm happy I can actually pronounce how much money I have that's not in the billions. I wasn't on board with the recolors, but I really appreciate it now. The only downside is the recolors I want is never available in the the marketplace.

Any new item I get is an adventure on it's own. And I bought legs! I'm trying to get used to it since I'm so used to the default avi body. I can see why people are crazy about them when they came out. (admittedly, I thought they were dumb. But I appreciate it now.) And I bought a background cause why not. A lot of users have them. I am Sky and I need to have a sky background.
As for a theme..? Well, I finally made Sky a backstory a few years ago. Her being a being from the sun. So I'm looking for sky, wind, and sun related items. Whites and light yellow colors. But aside from that I just dress her up in whatever types of items I have for avi art inspriation. Haha.

Aww.. I'm touched. heart Dude same. It feel like I'm looking at an old yearbook reading back.

Honestly. Pretty much just bumping, dumpster diving, and redressing my avi with cheap finds. Gaia have changed so much and so many new items have been released the last time I was one. I don't know what's consider "rare" anymore. Even cheap one holds monthly/evolution items value to me. What about you? You still do anything when you get on?
