I don't want anyone to panic - maybe keep this between you and me... but I have no idea where we are, and it's only getting colder. We've found nothing useful yet, and are getting further from the boat. Turning back with nothing gained is risky, but continuing to distance ourselves from our boat with no promise of provisions to be found is too. I might confer with Dylan, but maybe we'll keep quiet around Elliot and Helena for now. I don't want them getting scared.

Yeah, I think so. Who knew mermaids were real? Maybe you'll see one on the way back. The one I met was so nice. The other seemed scared of me though.

I've had so many crazy adventures. I met mermaids and pigicorns! A mermaid named Peridot helped me fix my boat. She saved me too. I nearly drowned. It was amazing.
