Awwww! That sounds expensive, though. Every time I look at breeders who are selling cats/dogs, they're always thousands or something crazy. Was it costly for you? surprised

Their names are adorable by the way. Should show me pics of them sometimes if you want. I adore animals.

It's no problem. I moved away from mine, too, so can't complain. If it makes you feel better, I don't think you're weird emotion_kirakira

But I understand how you feel. People tend to think I'm really weird, unless they're in on it too. I love watching anime, playing video games, and basically being an otaku. Plus I like people's bone structure because I'm an anatomy/physiology nerd. No one gets my humor and they all get glassy-eyed when I talk about anime or manga. Why do you think you're weird, though?

Hawaii! I had a co-worker once who used to go there every year for vacation. She'd take tons of pictures. The place looks beautiful. Also, those dogs are adorable. Looks like that breed is from Japan. Did you get lucky and find some in a shelter? surprised

Yup. I live in Colorado. Sucks, because I don't have any friends here either emo All my friends have moved to other places, like New York.

I know right? Like, there are people out there who seem to be just learning to draw asking for bribes and like...items worth millions of gold.

The art on my profile was bought for $5, but it's a sketch. I felt it was reasonable enough, since I liked her style. But since I'm living on my own, I have to have money for rent and all that fun stuff. I think the art for my profile was the first time I ever IRL commissioned anyone.

Gaia is already banning people who were exploiting the glitch. Makes me happy, because I don't ever feel like there's a reason to "cheat" on a site. Especially when it's Gaia, and everything you're buying is just pixels (granted, really good looking pixels imo).

I actually looked them up from the watermark on your profile (from the art).

Nowadays, I feel like even very non-complex art (like, lower quality than Akaninja and other popular artists) are also inflated. I've seen people trying to get bribes for very unpolished sketches. Given that, I kind of steered away from the art community for a while. I feel like inflated prices are only good if the art is actually worth the amount they're asking for.

I looked at their RL prices. Right now, I can't afford it. But maaayybeee around Christmas when my mom gives me some cash, I might RL commission AKANinja. Otherwise, I'm going to lurk in the AF and see if any other good artists are open for business.

Did you hear about all the people exploiting some G-cash glitch? Contributed massively to the inflation probably, since people were buying a ton of the 03-rereleases for nothing.
