Hello and welcome to my profile, it's nothing fancy, but it's mine, so that makes it special!
I am an animal lover and am of the mind that we humans are just really smart monkeys. I believe the world and society would greatly benefit if more humans were inclined to keep in touch with our primal nature. I also believe that everything we encounter ( pleasant or not ) is a blessing that we should be thankful for.
I love boats! I lived aboard my 25 foot sail boat for 2 years, at anchor (away from a dock) with no electricity or running water. I fished, harvested shell fish and seaweed, and foraged plants and fruits when available for the majority of my food. I like to live as close to nature as possible while still being a functioning member of society, and it has worked well for me!
I practice Witchcraft but am of no named religion, because what I believe has no name. I am a solitary practitioner and I am NOT Wiccan! All religions have the same basic teachings and I believe that no matter what name for God you are familiar with, all that matters is that you believe, because "God" will hear you no matter what name you use.
I like to indulge myself with vices like fine wine, tobacco, scotch (I LOVE scotch) Did I mention that I love scotch? Well I love scotch!
I am in love with a marvelous man and am not wont to wander, sorry boys, but that doesn't mean we can't be pals here on gaia! I love meeting new people and making friends!
