Yayyy! You're back! And you replied with the answer I was hoping for! biggrin I really do like Pudgy better. It's just that Burger's stats are enticing. wink
Well anyways, I'm training at Pueblonia City Gates in the hopes of finding some candy bars... but man oh man Pudgy's zodiac attack has gotten sooooo strong! It crits quite often, and the "random" ability of Stoneskin is really quite reliable now! It usually kicks in once per battle, and with its HP boost upped to 600 hp now, I can basically recover during every single battle! XD

At the moment, Spike seems to have a knack for failing to activate Life Tap for a number of turns, and then coming up with a huge crit to A) kill the enemy moga with tons of damage B) activate Life Tap and C) restore essentially all of its lost HP throughout the battle (during these crits it restores around 400-500 hp all in one go biggrin ). It's pretty sick.

The bone I have to pick with Regenerate is that it doesn't work often enough for something that is suppposed to be 100% successful. It doesn't automatically activate during the turn that you switch it on (like it does when you're facing an enemy moga with Regen), it doesn't work on the last turn when the counter goes from 1 to 0, and most annoying of all, it doesn't work on the turn that you finish off the enemy moga. This means that unless your enemy misses on its last move, there's no way that you can be at cull health after the battle, which kind of bothers me.

But still, it's better than Tama's Vampire Embrace... so I'll continue to use it until I find a balanced that I SUPERDUPER love. smile

Hi there! I hope you don't mind my seeking your help-- I respect your opinion on moga tactics more than anyone else because of the contributions you've made on my thread. biggrin

So... despite wanting a Legendary replacement for Pudgy all this time, I've become stuck on whether or not to replace him with Burger. emotion_facepalm Can you give me your opinion? I'll list out my pros and cons:

Pro (Burger>Pudgy):
-obviously, Legendary status gives Burger much better stats-- a whole star more for both attack AND defense!
-also due to Legendary status, Burger has over 100 more HP! (at level 21, both)
-I looked at Spike's, Momo's, Burger's, and Pudgy's respective 2x more and 3x more zodiac effectiveness, and Burger provides slightly better coverage (Pudgy shares 1 of 4 effective types with Spike+Momo, and Burger shares 0 of 4)
-Burger looks kinda cool/kinda cute. (very minor biggrin )

Shield of Thorns and Disease seem to strike with the same frequency, and they're both at 200 damage right now. I guess Disease is slightly better because it doesn't depend on an attack.

-Burger's HP recovery flat-out SUCKS. It's a secondary (chance) ability, and it's Vampire Embrace... which both you and I know would grant pathetic little damage when used on a tank. Plus, 15% is an awful chance. Pudgy's HP recovery not only recovers 600 HP in one go (!!!!!!) but also activates at 25% chance. Much, much better HP recovery on Pudgy.
-I like Pudgy and have grown a bit emotionally attached.

That's about it. Burger's HP recovery sucks major ----, Pudgy's rocks, but Burger's stats are better. What do you think?
