Hello fellow nerds, dorks and social regects. My name is Junpei Iwata. You can just call me "Jun" or just "Minty".

I was born in Kanagawa, Japan but have spent most my life living in San Diego over here in the states. I only went back for a few years (that time to Ibaraki) to take care of my grandparents with my mother. And, no, I don't actually speak the language very well. Yes, I'm aware of the irony.

As far as what I like to do, they make up a lot of who I am. I'm a huge nerd and I love it. I play a TON of video games, I occassionally read comics (manga and western), I watch way more japanese television, and I listen to a ton of music. I'm not one of those guys that says "I listen to everything". I really like hip-hop and I listen to a some indie stuff too. They're are a lot of venues in California, so I go to a lot of live shows and that's how I've been introduced to a lot of the more obscure bands I listen to.

If you ever want to game or talk about whatever, I'm always up for anything!
