Yes, there is a Minerva in Harry Potter!
Her full name is Minerva McGonagall.
But, students refer to her as Professor McGonagall. never by her first name as form of respect.
Only Headmaster Professor Dumbledore call her by first name Minerva.
She's also the Headmistress, but the second to Dumbledore. since Dumbledore is in full charge.
she's the Gryffindor House ambassador. There's Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw Houses.
she's also the Professor to the class, Transfiguration. she teaches the students how to transform a pencil into a cat, or how to transfer yourself into a cat.
anyway, I hope this answers your question! you should definitely read the books and watch the movies.
I have watched all of the movies, and only now I am reading the books. I am on book 3 now, Prisoner of Azkaban.
