Yumiko nodded. She pulled her black staff out of the shadows. Her ruby eyes glowed as she held it in her hand. "I can use this! But it's not like a REAL weapon like you read about in books. You can't hit people with it."

Yumiko ran over to Sev. The six-year-old hugged him tightly. "You're back! YAY!" She then pulled away. "What are you going to teach me today?"

Yumiko looked at Sev and rubbed her eyes as she awoke. The now six-year-old girl smiled warmly at Sev. "Wow! It's a really pretty day out! Let's go fly a kite! I love to fly kites! Do you like to fly kites?"

The small girl enjoyed feeling safe against Sev's chest. It wasn't that she rarely felt safe; her parents provided a very safe environment. It was more that this felt familiar. Her cheeks flushed. The small girl realized that she'd awaken soon. She was going to be six-years-old. ((she'll be six on nov 1st)) She was growing up so quickly. The rapid rate was hard to adjust to. Sometimes it was even painful. In this case her knee caps were starting to form. It was awkward and a little painful. Her legs were finally going to be able to bend a little easier. She wouldn't have that awkward walk. Her power was growing as well at an alarming rate.

Yumiko began to dream about her mother getting overtaken by an evil spirit and attacking her. She began to break out in a cold sweat.

"That's exceedingly kind of you to offer." She nodded thankfully, a soft smile upon her face. "All I need from you is to make sure that Yumiko does not get injured while she is being trained. I know her summons tend to want to train her when I'm not looking."

My husband is likely playing with Yumiko in the yard." She replied, covering her mouth politely as she gently chuckled. "At the rate she is growing so quickly that we have to spend as much time with her as we can. Though, sometimes that can be a challenge, as we're getting ready for a new baby very soon. Still, we're doing our best to provide Yumiko a healthy and stable home environment."

"I am sorry you do not know your parents. Perhaps someday you may be able to find them." She gave him a concerned nod, before responding to the second half of the statement. "Her guardian? Well then my instincts were correct. It is important to know you. I am her mother, although, I have adopted her you see." She explained, gesturing with her hands as she spoke. "I will not be keeping it from her, but I am going to tell her when she is a little older."

"Oh my." Setsuna blushed slightly, not at the greeting but at the word 'miss'. That was usually a word that referred to someone young and unmarried, though, a small technicality like that would not bother her. "I'm an old woman, but that is kind of you." She smiled softly, not realizing until after she'd mentioned it that he probably couldn't tell due to her youthful appearance. "Pardon me. My daughter Yumiko has spoken about you. I felt it was time that I met you."

Setsuna felt it a wise decision to seek out those who would be working closely with her daughter. Introducing herself would be the proper thing. Plus, she wanted more than anything to insure her daughter's safety. "Greetings." She approached the young man, proceeding to question him promptly. "Pardon my intrusion, but are you Sev?"
