Get to know me...
Hey there. My name is MidnightEdeness, on earth seventeen years. I’m currently a senior in high school ready to leap into college life next year. I’m living in the horse state of KY in the city with many names.


Why I am here...
Simple: I am here to improve my writing and drawing skills, and to build a sort of "career" by gaining some influence online. I plan to a best-selling author and manga artist in the future, so be looking for me.


What i dream of doing...
Ohhh…i could go on with this one! A snippet of my personal philosophy: I don’t measure success by just my own wealth and happiness. In my opinion, success is measured by what you do for others. So my ultimate dream involves starting a charity that helps distributes solar panels to tropical villages for power, and in partnership with other charities, rebuilds these villages, providing basic needs.
As for my more selfish dream, it involves becoming a best-selling author. The literature world will, hopefully be adding me to their list of classic authors!


And what Inspires me
My number one inspiration comes from books. They are my number one love, and they often spark ideas for themes, styles, plots, characters etc.

Music falls behind books. I play bass in an orchestra, and ill often find myself playing a little tune with my fingers, while beating out a poem or a short story in my head. (Unfortunately, i usually don't write these down, so i forget them by the time i reach paper. I should start taking a notebook to Orchestra class...).

Nature is on the same wave as music. This ones a little strange. Sometimes I'll see, say, a wood, and I'll mentally turn into a scene from a book (imagine an army marching through the trees for example.) and stories bloom from there.

But though i take inspiration, i try not to take ideas. I'm big on originality. "Innovate, never recreate", my as my Creative Writing teacher says.


What I love...
I’m an artsy person. Love reading, writing, drawing and photography. My style reflects that; I love artsy tees in black, boho skirts, and antique accessories. On the music spectrum is rock, classical, techno, and Asian. My PSP® is filled with Evanescenese, Vivaldi, Cascada and Super Junior. And of course, nothing goes better with good music than good snacks. My top choices are Skittles and any gummy, fruit candy. They taste good, and attract kids. I love kids, caring for them and playing with them (except when they are misbehaving…then they become a real headache.)

My more moral passions are equality and charity, Nothing disgusts me more than discrimination and hate. I am a strong believer in the thought that we are all human, and even the most vile of humans deserves to be treated humanely. But, that idea is far too idealistic for the world. Charity is, fortunately, a more realistic thought, and I take every opportunity to practice it.



And what i hate...
- Cheese, the nastiest substance on earth.

-Hateful people (especially homophobes. They are the worst) -ironic, that I hate hateful people. But don’t get me started on them. I have many unpleasant things to say.

-Bad book-based movies; their directors should be shot and feed to wood chippers.
