Michiru is a true lady. She is the graceful Sailor Neptune. She plays the violin professionally and enjoys painting. She can swim as good as Ami. She is cool and her personality is more mature than the others. She couples with Haruka, Sailor Uranus. Haruka is more than a friend for Michiru. She goes to the same high school with Haruka. Michiru is very close to Haruka but she is not cold like Haruka. She is like a mom for Hotaru.

Michiru is the holder of the deep aqua mirror talisman, which sees everything. In SM S, her job was to find the talismans which were in the pure hearts of humans, with Haruka. She was believing that she will have to sacrifice people to find the talismans but actually there was a talisman in her heart. She never considered herself to be possessing a talisman because she didn't think she had a pure heart. By SM SS, Michiru has decided to retire from the sailor business, but she returned in SM Stars.
