Golden Glitch

The user known as (sporty_girl) struck it lucky the other day when a glitch gave her double the gold she was supposed to recieve from a post in the Avatar Arena. As it was her first post, with a usual bonus of 50 gold coins, she recieved an extra 50 due to a glitch. We all know that nothing is perfect, and with Gaia, we are glad, as we all hope to get the same glitch that (sporty_girl) had hit.

Spare the Score, Spoil the User

A user named c a l c i u m engaged himself in a game of pinball in an attempt to pile up his gold. During said period of mindless repetative tapping, he eventually failed to the mighty game. He immediately checked his gold to see he had earned some, but glancing at Pinball, he realized that he had recieved no score. This marks the second glitch in our July Newsletter, and on the second story as well, creepy *knocks on wood*.

Ghost Gold

In a recent set of complaints and reports, several users claim that they have logged off of their accounts for time limits amounting to days to weeks, and say that when they return to their home page, their amount of gold has substantially diminished. This is as well another symbolic event that shows that nothing is perfect, especially computers.

Phony NPC's and Admins

As we busy ourselves with fun on Gaia, we often don't look clsoely on certain situations of importance. I am of course talking of the recent theft of accounts or passwords. Only "theft" probably isn't the proper word. I think the better would be "con". Or maybe not. It's not theft because these users are literally GIVING out their passwors in private messages. But that said, I don't blame some of them ,especially younger ones, because most of these are accounted because another user that is a stranger to them asks them for the password, claiming that they are an NPC or an Admin. THESE ARE PHONIES TRYING TO SCAM OR CON YOU OUT OF YOUR PASSWORD. In most online snesations such as Gaia online, Admins would not ask for your password straight through the game or on your account. Most won't even ask you at all, so always keep your guard up for these scams. Thank you for reading, and await our August News Letter.
