Ah, for the "great ruler" I was thinking whoever was behind this falsified Eden, they'd be the ones that the modified people were taught to understand and almost "worship."
Also, I was kind of thinking that there's a group of people that created/run this falsified Eden, but they also live with the "perfects" as modified humans too.
Of course, this means that there's one big mastermind behind all of this, but I have yet to find any suitable idea for that. xD
That's why I need someone else xD I suck at this "bad guy" stuff, and I was thinking that they could send the "bad profiles" to you instead. You know, to keep the mystery of who's to trust, and who isn't. Also, you can act as the "mastermind" behind this all anyways 3nodding It'd surely make life easier.
So basically, it'd keep the whole mystery from everyone. The profile skeleton would be the same for everyone, so no one would know who was what.
I also want to omit the whole "bio" thing because, er I don't know, I feel like it kills the roleplay because everyone reads it and then it's no fun. Maybe once that character begins to reveal stuff to others, they can update their "profile" on a separate thread-thing. You know, like their profile is a journal of some sort. So on the thread where people post their profiles, it'll act like a secondary journal/file for that particular character.
It sounds complicated, I know. That's why I was kind of hesitant about this whole thing. xD

lol I like the idea because there are a lot of roleplays where the other world is some dark, dreary place.
The only problem with this idea is the theme of Eden.
"If it's so pretty, why would anyone want to leave?" kind of thing.
I don't really want a "family/community" thing where they live peacefully, but at the same time I don't want the characters to keep their memories.
I'm thinking that there are some people with flaws in the genetic modification where they have flashbacks of their previous life.
Not like Stuck in the Dreamscape where they can remember up to two years back, as in their entire memory is wiped...
I don't know, does this sound like it's making any sense? xD

Hmm...I'm not quite sure. I like the idea of being in a "different world" concept, but I'm still toying with the idea.
It was actually Stuck in the Dreamscape that inspired me with the ideas ^^;
But yeah, I've been trying to pin down this idea. It probably sounds stupid, but here it goes:
Specific people are taken [could be of any age, at this point I really don't know], and are erm.... modified genetically.
They're modified to create the ideal race [not sure whether it's human or not....], living in a world that's parallel to the one they know.
But everything there is perfect. You know, like whoever is behind this is trying to re-create Eden?
I don't want to get into the whole "races" or "controlling elements" thing, so that's where my ides run out xD.

I'm tempted to make one, but I can't think of a decent storyplot.
& I really loved the storyplot of Stuck in the Dreamscape, so... yeah x]
