I'm just a weird nerd that had a lot of time on my hands. There's tutorials and videos online and color palette generators if you're feeling lazy.
it's pretty easy to understand once you get the terminology out of the way, and then once in practice you'll just remember everything.

and the real trick is, once you know the rules, you can effectively break them and paint with all the colors of the wind emotion_awesome
There's really no Wrong answer. Some colors just look better next to each other, but often most things are by personal preference!

Pink, ivory and brown would be so darling! That could be the amaranth & ivory recolor and add some brown so its not too washed out from only having it in a two color scheme. Gosh and I think in creamy candy (I think that's bubblegum pink, lavender and ivory) or sweetheart (amaranth pink, agate blue and sunshine yellow). it just needs to be in a multicolor schemed which is why Im so glad the original item was sherbet. It's one of my absolute favorite schemes and the artists have been trying new things with it I noticed. There's a lot of isolated colors from the scheme instead of everything being a gradient, which makes each pose individually more versitle to use with other items and perfect to wear along with its other poses without being too overpowring. Like I really wanted to like the new unicorn scheme, but all the items paired together is just too visually noisy. (Lmao I could write a novel....I blame my career path and I just Really love color theory!)
