It's actually not as hard as it looks lol It's really all in the knees, basically. One of my friends had lots of trouble with it, too, but when I showed her how to use the knees to make it easier, she actually picked it up a lot faster

Hahaha I always thought it was cute when they did that in movies x3 First hand knowledge, eh? Well, I guess so... that doesn't mean I'm off the hook when it comes to practicing though. Believe me, I've been practicing for at least 11 years lol

Yea, sassy and sexy works, too. xD But I tend to just feel fun when I try Spanish dances. I feel fun + everything else belly dancing. But that might just be b/c it's in my blood

I like the different Spanish dances, though I don't really know much about them ^_^; But I do know they're extremely fun to do xD

When it comes to exercising, it's always better when it's something you like to do. Even sports, or if it's a workout, at least it's with a friend. Crunches, too, can be made fun if you've got encouragement with friends, but it's all too true that dancing is just funner than any other type of exercise. xD And it works out the entire body at once if you know how to do it!

Definitely; I try to tell people who ask about losing weight that if they just belly danced about a half an hour every day, they'd go down in no time. It's such a fun way to exercise and express yourself. I feel like it's the only form of dance (at least that I've ever tried) that really allows a person to feel the music. It just makes everything easier and funner xD
