But also, just to let you know. When members join my house they are required to sacrifice a wood elf in the House temple in order to be accepted by Lolth and the House. But maybe we can introduce your character in a special way. Perhaps you had been spying on the House's trade route and found like a few of the main merchants the Matron goes through and you use his identity to give a good word about you. About how you're a powerful sorcerer and looking for an archmage or some kind of head of magic position. Lariexith will see it as a answer to her prayers from Lolth and accept you right away.

Killing a drow wouldn't make any difference. Perhaps killing a wood elf and bringing it as an offering would be a little more satisfactory. But coming in with your disguise would be fine. Most drow looking for employment just come up to the house.

For her to look beyond his appearance would upset her Goddess and put her house to the lowest rank. That's something she could not allow. Not only that but I don't think Quenthal would allow you to run in her city.

Also, just out of curiosity, don't wizards play with their disguises? I've never played a wizard so I wouldn't know.i

I need an archmage very badly actually. Unfortunately my house is very racist. Especially when it comes to the surface elves so I dont see how my character could ever adjust to that. That's just the way she is.
