The idea of having careers, something I will die doing is exhilarating and kind of scary too! I am always wondering where it will take me, where I will end up when all is said and done!
Poor Chance! I really hope he'll be alright, hopefully the vet will give him something for the pain. heart
Just give him all the love and he'll heal up quickly!

OoOo! Chance! Yeah, definitely look into obedience classes, or agility course training. Collies are one of the most intelligent breeds in the dog world, they are at the mental capacity of a 4 year old child.
Until you start classes try playing brain games with him, such as hiding a treat/toy and having him finding it, or hide yourself and have him come find you. You'll notice he'll catch onto things really quickly, so don't be afraid to move chairs and tables around so he has to dodge, weave, maybe even jump over a chair to get what he wants in the end.
It is what I do with my German/Aussie shepherd. Smart dogs are smart! ^_^

CONGRATS! What type of job is it? How long is orientation? I am so happy for you!
You got a dog?! EEEE! How old is he? What's his name? What breed(s) is he?
I am a dog trainer and behaviorist so I can talk about dogs all day! If you ever need some doggy help let me know! heart
I need references so badly to help build up my portfolio.
Currently I am building up my dog sitting profile, so I can start sitting. It isn't much, but for now it is a good foot in the door!
I am also looking into working at some pet stores as a nutritionist, hopefully that pans out.

My 10 year Gaiaversary is coming up, I plan on having a week long celebration it will start March 6th, so I hope I see you there!

Sorry to have disappeared for a while, things got a bit twisted up for me evil and then vacation hit! sweatdrop
Sept 27th through Oct 29th, Been trying to make it here. We had a Long and strange vacation, a family visit of my family I haven't seen in sometime, to seeing friends I haven't seen in a long time, a friend's wedding with me being the Best man, and Rose being the behind the scenes photographer, to trying to keep up with Rose, keep showing her how much I love and want to spend the rest of my life with her, and still want to marry her, to her family and spending time with those that we haven't seen, plus her grandma being sick to feeling great to her passing. Then a deer hit Rose's Mom's truck on the way back home, and seeing it's face hit the window I was sitting by, then the funeral, and now back home Rose is sick, with just the two of us again, and trying to keep things going and trying to help each other make it.
A LLLLOOOOOONNNNGGGGG month's vacation.
