Congrats on getting vaccinated soon! A friend of mine works in WH as a pandemic consultant.
She says hopefully US is gonna be covered state per state for inoculations.

Yay for you guys! Not yay for me, our country is still undergoing procurement because our govt missed the initial supply rollout. rolleyes

I tell you, it is. Bless those who teach this course. Trust me, even if you're considered intelligent, but if you don't have the kind of math training I did, abstract algebra can be very confusing.
Even I don't know if I have the patience to teach a whole class of it yet, but once I finish my PhD I'll probably be assigned to teach it, so yeah.

Best of luck with it! I'd offer to help, but my music theory is not as solid as I'd like. I'm trying to learn it properly myself.

Anyway, I've been trying to help someone with abstract algebra. That stuff is challenging, especially because 1) it's so abstract as suggested 2) order actually matters when you're multiplying things. My regular classes, just usual Calc II stuff, I've taught this course lots of times but it's been reconfigured a bit so there are new topics. Won't get to those until about April though.
