Obito Uchiha was a chūnin of Konohagakure who was believed to have died during the Third Shinobi World War, but in truth survived with the help of Madara Uchiha. Distraught by the death of the girl he loved, he became a missing-nin and dedicated his life to ending world conflict, using Madara's identity as well the alias Tobi . For years, Obito manipulated Akatsuki from the shadows to further his ambitions before eventually going public with his agenda and starting the Fourth Shinobi World War.
Early Life-
Obito grew up not knowing who his parents were, a sad upbringing which led him to dream of one day becoming the Hokage so that the people of the village would acknowledge his existence. Obito arrived late for his enrollment in the Academy, but was relieved when Rin Nohara handed him his orientation-documents. He eventually graduated at the age of 9 and was placed in Team Minato with Rin and Kakashi Hatake under the leadership of Minato Namikaze. For their final test to become genin, Minato tasked his potential students with taking one of two bells from him in combat. After failing to take a bell on his own and seeing that Minato's skill was well above their own, Obito agreed to work with his team to get the bells. Ultimately, Minato passed all three of them as they succeeded in the real test: showing team-work.
Personality-
In his youth, Obito was constantly late, which, more often than not, was due to the good deeds he had stopped to do, such as aiding the elderly, even making it a point in his life to do so. He even noted he knew all the elderly people in Konoha. Obito was also easily moved to tears, which he always insisted was because he had gotten something in his eyes despite wearing goggles. Obito was in love with Rin, despite realising her feelings were towards Kakashi instead. From this, Obito began to envy Kakashi's prodigious skills and constantly sought to surpass him. Ultimately, Obito would never get the chance to reveal his feelings to Rin before his supposed death. As Kakashi noted, Obito shared many qualities with Naruto; including a one-sided rivalry with his genius peer and one-sided feelings for his female peer. He also held the same desires as Naruto to become Hokage and never abandon comrades. Obito was kind from the bottom of his heart; qualities that made him ideal for corruption according to Madara. However, upon witnessing Rin's death, Obito's determination and idealism were destroyed and his personality entirely changed.

He wore a long sleeved blue uniform with metal plating on the part that reached the back of his hands, as well as a blue jacket with an orange collar and trimmings. The jacket was fastened to the rest of the outfit by two buttons on the collar, and had the Uchiha clan crest at the back. He also wore a white belt, shinobi sandals, the standard Konoha dark blue forehead protector, and a pair of goggles with orange lenses connected to ear protectors.
