You have to know that your grandpa knows you're there.. His soul does.. and your mom is trying to look strong for you.. she really needs that hug.. and if she asks you why, you just say that YOU needed the hug. She'll give it right back. did you know that crying is a good thing.. I know being a man makes it look like you have to be a tough guy.. you've got to let it go or you'll burst.. and when you burst it's never pretty. and it'll make you feel a little better and after your mind will clear and you'll know what you have to do. You need this more than I do.. HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUG!! and keep talking to me ok, you'll also feel better talking to someone about what's going on.. it helps.
I hope I'm helping you by doing this.. if not, and I'm making it worse.. just let me know ok.

Ok first of all, be strong and think of something good that you and your grandpa share.
Second, think of what your Grandpa would like you to do..
I know it sounds like it's harsh, but keeping your mind busy and off of the hurt will help you through those tough days.
I understand what it's like having a grandparent in the hospital... it's tough but I know you'll get through it.
stay in touch with your grandpa too.. if it's not too rough for you. after doing home work or whatever.. go and visit him and make sure he knows that you're there for him.. he'd very much appreciate it.
BIG HUGS, I know you'll be fine..
Maybe even talk to your mom about it, she's probably upset too.. give her a great big hug and a kiss and tell her that you love her.
She'd love it and probably needs it like you do.

I had a great day yesterday.. I went on a date to the casino with my hubby.. we won and we lost.. but it was a blast..
We both needed it. biggrin and today we're both gonna have a romantic dinner just the two of us.. biggrin
mmmm roast beef and vegetables. biggrin
