Honestly, maybe it's for the best... you know... with how the economy is these days. I've been thinking more and more about not applying, because at the end of the day... what the hell am I going to do with a fine art degree? But I want to know that there's enough potentional in me to get *at least* accepted into one of these schools. It'll be the last time I'm applying anyway, so if I don't get in, I'll let that dream go and keep art as a hobby and freelance job and pick a different major like social work or something. Maybe try out a free course instead like you've mentioned!

Also, you're so right... living is so expensive. It's depressing! I guess I'll be upgrading my pc in another 20 years lol

I actually make ceramic sculptures for a living! I've recently had a few exhibitions and now I'm working on my next collection. I'm also working on my art portfolio... next week the applications for art schools are opening and I'm going to apply. It'll be my third attempt... confused

Oh, totally! Here's the link to my art shop. Half of the art in my samples are kinda 'old', but they were already on my pc sweatdrop I'll have to transfer some of my recent art from my ipad to my pc and update the shop. I don't draw digitally as often as I should. I'm more into ceramics razz But I don't post my fine art on gaia, because it's linked to my irl social media and I like to have *some* anonymity on here rofl

Honestly, that's how I've been feeling, which is why I've been on a hiatus. I just returned from said hiatus actually! I was feeling so inspired and grinding for plat got hard (even trying to sell bundles wasn't going well) and with many of my quest items being unlisted and expensive burnt me out. I actually opened an art shop, so hopefully I'll get some commissions. It'll keep me busy!
