Personally, I considered the one where Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle appear at the end to be part of the Cutie Mark Crusaders stuff, simply because it started the whole "Cutie Mark" questing stuff and reminded me of earlier years, too. Namely, that in elementary school, children are assholes.

I'm glad it shifted more of the focus from Twilight to the others as the season came to a close. I don't mind her, but she's not my favourite. The others needed more attention, and the results of the shift were fantastic. Hope they maintain that balance, and possibly stop dedicating as many episodes to the Crusaders as they did. Apple Bloom wasn't bad on her own. She was even kind of amusing. But add Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle in and things become a bit annoying.

I think I might have clicked the tribute video in the suggestion bar before the first night of watching was finished. Makes sense, though. Even with the people in the comments on YouTube pointing out which spots to go to when she appeared, I had no idea which one to look for during later episodes. Which is why I'm glad there's people that put together those wikia sites. Otherwise, I'd probably never find out this stuff.

I'll keep that in mind. I'm gonna re-watch all the episodes and I want to see what I missed the first time around. Hell, I even missed Derpy Hooves in the first episode the first time 'round.

Yeah. Some of the stuff like the Rainbow Dash Tylenol, Twilight Story, and the Paper Mario MLP theme were amazingly well done, but you were right. I found that Super Ponybeats tops them all. I can't listen to the At The Gala mix without probably injuring my foot from bobbing it along. Hopefully it spawns even more remixes and Ponybeats to keep up interest until Season 2.

Same here. I can't remember how many times I've listened to the songs from that one, the You're Going To Love Me! clips and Sparta Remixes and watching a season's worth of build-up play out in one of the most fantastic season finales I've ever seen.

Will do. I think I listened to the beginning of the Winter Wrap Up one but got distracted by the 8-bit version. Time to finish them all.

You know, at first, I cringed at most of the songs, but they grew on me by the end. And a song that's able to start a war is a pretty impressive. And rather catchy.

One of the rare, newer children's cartoons with characters that develop and break through the archetypes of other toons. Why couldn't they have had something this good back in the 90s? Then moral speeches would have been fun.
