http://www.shadowseekers.org/famoushauntings.html The Haunted Mansion
Walt Disneyworld, Flordia
Originally opened in 1969, Disneyworld's most "haunted attraction" may actually be its most haunted.
The spirit of a man who died in a plane crash several years before the mansion's construction has taken
refuge in its dark halls. He is often seen with a cane. The spirit of a man dressed in a tuxedo is seen
in the mansion. It is believed he is the spirit of Ted Anderly. Ted was to be best man at his brother's wedding.
He left the party to go to the restroom and never returned. Rumors abound as to his demise.
A woman who has lost her young son wished to spread his ashes inside the mansion. Disney officials refused,
and she smuggled the ashes inside the building and scattered them along the ride. Since then, people have
reported seeing a crying boy sitting near the exit and wandering throughout the ride. So the next time you
take a trip to the magical kingdom, you may find that not all the ghosts in the Haunted Mansion are holograms.
