Stuck in this place
This place where I cant see outside of my mind
Life seems to be a hopeless race
That we'll continue until the end of time
This world where people look for love
This world where no one can be equal
This world where we all just push and shove
I only hope there won't be a sequel
I see people cry out
I feel the hearts of the broken
I hear the lies of the devout
I taste the misery that will never fade
I am surrounded by those who refuse to be repaired
This world so full of problems
Petty that they may be
We all just drown in our sorrows
We cannot help each other
Lacking the capacity of genuine love
Yet we wonder around
Hoping it might be just laying on the ground
Where has the time gone
Where are we going?
Where will we stop?
When will it how?
How will we go?
Spiraling downwards
At an alarming rate
Never trying to stop
We all accept a pointless fate
Oh my desolate soul
How it pains me so
To watch us fall apart
To only dream
Dream of what we could have been
Dream of brighter skies
Dream of love in the world
Dream of a world without lies
Although I must digress
All hope is not lost
We cannot capacitate love
For we are love
We are what was always meant to be
We are each other and ourselves at once
We must be at peace
We must join together
So tell the people
Shout it in the streets
Spread the word of hope
And bring people to their feet
Old, poor, sick, and broken
Young, new, and alive
Unite in our faith
Bring us all together
Together we shall stand
Together we shall conquer
Together we shall fight
