Crazy how time flies huh? It's been a little crazy on my end with a lot of things going on. x.x; Picked up a second job to help keep me afloat.
Did she end up smashing some cake? xD I hope you have lots of pictures?
And Becca 4 already?! wow... Crazy. I'm sure her personality is fun.

It really is crazy stressful... I'm like twitching... x.x; I have to go to the post office and have the forward my mail to a new address since I'm moving back to VA from Maryland. The cost to live on my own is way too high and I can't save like I used to. So renting a place at my mom's old house. I feel like I took a couple steps forward and now I'm rolling all the way back. At least it's temporary... *sigh* And it will help with bills and budget. 3nodding

How was your summer? Hanging in there alright? Excited for the last half of the year?

Having a little birthday party for her?

I've been taking it a day at a time. I mean last month the shock and the expenses I really wasn't keeping track so I've been playing catch up with bills this month.
Next week I should be caught up with everything. Then I'll have to restructure my budget and make some changes so I can be saving more. 3nodding
So I won't be hit like I have been this past month. 3nodding

Lol. I had a glass filled a little bit with water in the bathroom because I had washed it out the night before since it had milk in it. And there was a roach in it. I just cupped some water in my hands and poored it over the roach in the cup. xD I think I actually drowned a roach. This is a first.

Makes sense. I had times when I was younger that I got new toys and either lost them or literally broke them in a day. My mom bought me some spy thing because I was really in to walkie talkies for a while and all the cool boys spy stuff. But whatever it was, I literally broke it that day or the next day. I think the headphone jack broke off in to the headphone port and I tried taking it apart and everything with a screwdriver since I was probably like 10. I felt so horrible bad that I hid it in my closet and never mentioned it again. My parents never found out but I still felt really bad and guilty about it.

Good idea. A nice sturdy child proof camera would be good. I remember when I was probably around 8-10, my parents got me this weird film camera where the film was stickers. So you could put the stickers on notebooks or anywhere. I still have a few of those around somewhere. I took pictures of my parents, my old cat, etc. It was fun. I've always enjoyed it.

We painted our laminate cabinets which they now have this bamboo look to them. We're gonna go with a dark Formica counter, or black and dark floors. Then have tan on most the walls except the walls between and above the cabinets is going to be a nice green color. Makes me think of a bamboo forest.

Haha. Maybe she likes taking the pictures more than having her picture taken? Have you tried that before? That's how I am. I'd rather be behind the camera than in front of it. Mainly because I feel so awkward.

If it keeps progressing pretty smoothly and in general then I'd say we have another couple weeks until things are done. Depending on how long it takes us to get a hold of a family friend who is going to do new Formica counter tops for us. My parents keep asking me for the tie breaker on all the design choices. Floors, counters, colors, etc.

Wow. They're that old already? 2 months, wow. That's wonderful.
Kind of hard to live in since we had to move our stove and fridge outward. They're still plugged in though. All our kitchen stuff from the cupboards are spread in to two rooms so you have to constantly walk back and forth across the house depending on what you need to cook with. Haha. I think what will really get interesting is when we start put the flooring down.

How is your family? How many kids do you have? Because there's this other person on Gaia I talk to every now and then and I end up confusing the two of you.

My summer is going good. This past week we just started renovating our kitchen. Not one of those big renovations where you're ripping things out and replacing with brand new. We're more working with what we have other than the floor.
