I used to believe love existed everywhere, everyone was capable of it.
I've recently learned.. Love is nothing but a word. One that's used far too often, thrown out without a thought. When someone means it, they can feel it with every bone in their body, they mean it with every fiber of their being.
So, then.. What does it mean to say it without all the meaning behind it..?
Honestly, I couldn't tell you.
I'm undoubtedly in love with someone whom.. No longer loves me back. The fault is my own, as it always is. There was some part of me that thought if I tried hard enough, I could have that person back. But, sadly, I was mistaken and now I feel as if my heart's been ripped open for the world to see, wounded and vulnerable.
I find it difficult to breathe when I think of him, I find it difficult to think about anything but him. No breath.. No air, no pain anymore, right?
That's what I'm counting on.
