If I wrote you a poem,
Would you write me a song?
If I knew I was right,
Would you tell them they were wrong?
If I were to cry,
Would you wipe my tears away?
If I were to break down,
Would you carry me through the day?
If I was to lose sight,
Would you show me who I am to be?
If I were to be knocked down,
Would you still believe in me?
If I gave you my heart,
I gave it all only to you,
Would you keep it safe?
Would you say you love me too?
Dear Santa,
I know I'm growing up now,
and I've been told not to believe.
that Santa only exists to children,
but there's this certain boy you see...
And for this boy, I hope you know,
I'd give Christmas all away,
for just one moment, I promise I'll believe,
so as to be with this boy one day.
So Santa when you make your rounds,
and stop on by my home,
I hope I've been good enough this year,
for you to realize what I've known.
For this boy I speak of,
means the world and much more to me,
And I wouldn't be lying when I tell you Santa,
I love this boy, you see.
