hello X3 how have you been?
it's been such a long time since I've been on gaia ;___: so many things happened and I felt the need to step back to reevaluate things. I've been to a car accident, with total car loss, and I was together with my parents on the road. We didn't suffer any injuries, which was a miracle because we were on high speed, crashed into the side of a truck and on a hill.
Well, it was quite a shock but right now we are all doing ok. I feel that after the accident I pay more attention to little things and things I took for granted, and I'm thankful eeryday for still having my family with me.
The most shocking news though was when I lost my uncle on another car accident. I really fell the impact and how dangerous it was for us. My uncle also left behind 2 daughters which are just 3 and 5 years old, and it's heartbreaking to know that they'll grow without a father.
oh I'm sorry for just blabbin it all out. I feel like we haven't talked in ages D: I really missed our conversations. heart
but I'm back to gaia hopefully for a long time now xD
how about you, are you ok, what have you been doing? ^____^

Oh, in Australia there must be a lot better than here xD Although, we do have the biggest bus in the world lol. It was implanted this year I think, but I haven't rode on it yet.
wow they do that in Japan? that's.. amazing. I think they'd run out of paper here too xD

Yes yes, we're doing a intermodal for buses, bikes and the subway. we're using the columns as rain drainers, I hope it will be enough for this contest xD we still have to fix many little things.. in fact, I'm a bit tired of doing it nonstop, I'm just waiting for it to be over soon.

Books.. I get a lot more scared when reading then watching XD So I avoid reading crime mystery books.
Oh I see.. well, I guess it will always spoil, one way or the other x3 I'll read the book if I can find it on the stores here. =]

By the way, congratulations to Australia heart you just won the feminine US Open Tournament of Tennis ^____^

Yes, depending on bus is not ideal lol. Although where I live, I use public transportation almost everyday =3 I still don't know how to drive xD But for now I don't think I'll need a car.
My teacher from Japanese classes told us that Japan buses have very precise schedules, like "11:32 am", and they always go in the minute marked. I wish it was like that here too xD
we're doing this project for an intermodal terminal, so the 3D will contemplate the structure and overall architecture of that =) I actually got an example of Melborne to do the details xd The Southern Cross Station =3

Yes, that one ^^ I like how they relate Maths to things that are tangible in real life .. I used to watch Criminal Minds, NCIS, CSI Las Vegas.. xD
Game of Thrones? I think I saw some advertisement of it or something. So it's based of a book? Which one is better, the book or the series? o3o

we normally go by car, but sometimes by airplane. the only bad thing about airplane is that we can't move around freely on the city we're staying, since we won't have our car to do so.
My teachers finally accepted the deal, I think it was 4%.. I'm starting classes next monday =3 we'll have a gathering of students of Architecture to see how our classes will be affected, when will the end of semester take place now.

I'm participating in an Architecture contest for students, which needs to be delivered by the 22nd of this month. We're currently doing the details of structure and 3d material ^^ other than that, just spending some time on gaia, watching tv xD I'm currently addicted on a series called "Numbers", it's pretty nice ^^

they're around 7 hours by car, but some live farther now... I haven't been to their places yet xD Due to the fact that they live far away, we don't keep much contact besides going over 2-3 times a year, one of them on christmas/new years.

Yes, they want around 30% but government only offered 4%.. I don't think they would accept such low rise either, and they're claiming other benefits too which I don't recall now xD It appears once in a while in the local news, I think it appeared once in the national news, but not about our university specifically.

I really hope it doesn't go that way D;
We're the only ones that moved to this city, so I doubt they would come here just to visit our family xD It's a long trip.
Well, it's been around 10 years since they don't go on strike, hence the long period we're without classes this time. I'm not sure if the government is going to give the rise they want, I think they offered some percentage but teachers thought it wasn't enough.

It is said that if they stay on strike for more than 30% of our normal classes days, the semester will be annulled. I'm not sure about my course that is annual though, because then I'll have to repeat the whole year just because of this strike. The next school year will be just like the others, on the right month that is. They can postpone our classes until February I guess, because on March the new year begin.
Most of my friends are going on the same university, but there are others that graduated or go to private colleges. What really will be a bummer is not having time to visit my family from other cities, and not traveling on Christmas or New Year as I always do. =( I just hope the government takes an attitude and give what the teachers are requesting, that is a fair salary.
