Death as brutal as fire,

Hate is a stupid desire.
When a life is taken,
A life replaced,
A lie will shake,
As the world then quakes...
A brutal desire, a lie of hate,
A life as pure, as soon to break.

Torn Between
Split between what I want to believe, and reality,
Not knowing if my fantasies are real or make believe,
The blood from the past soaks through the mirror hanging on the wall,
Telling me that it's real,
But everyone's saying I've lost my grip.
With the fangs implanted into the neck of the "prey",
The "Beast" consumes the red liquid as if it was a life source,
The thoughts that they are real sinks in deep,
But the denial is always there,
But hidden so well that I can't tell.
The red eyes glow fiercely in a glare that shatters the glass of the body,
Just one glance into those eyes could make me succumb to the ground,
But the eyes attract me instead of destroy me,
The calls of the unreal circle around me,
Waiting for the chance to consume me.
Even without the fangs and eyes, I could see,
I could see the figure mocking me,
Laughing at my weakness,
Sneering as I pass,
Trying to draw me in for death.
But the will of the mind breaks the spell,
The spell of binding, deceiving and lying,
The tears spill from the eyes and drip to the ground,
Soon, the body collapses to the ground after,
Just sitting there, staring, crying.

Heaven's light pure in the shadow's night,
Hell's darkness as evil in her gleaming sight,
A Demon's call for blood and fight,
A child's call to fall and take flight,
Life that never leaves the dark,
Begging for the life that just won't spark,
A death opening an implanted mark,
A beginning with no end or ending remark,
Tears that roll down the child's face,
Were lost in the flames of disgrace,
A sorrow sealed up and locked away to erase,
A sorrow that's wished to vanish without a trace,
Nightmares struck hard in the child's sight,
A life she wished to escape and forget, leave in the dark,
A life she was forced to remember and not erase,
Now all stories begin anew and start a new race.
