Okay, Janey's back with more solutions!
Confronting him would be the most effective, but there are other options. XD
1. Personally, I would tell a teacher over a parent because they have more control over what's going on at school, but if you must...
2. Tell a parent, have them call the school, and it would take multiple steps to work.
I know all of these sound so awfully difficult and nerve wrecking, but if you tell them, it will only be one more bad day, and if you do not, it will be the rest of your life. Which would you choose?

Okay, so what you do now could be very crucial, depending on the information at hand involving the secret of yours that he knows.
If it is too awful to have announced to anyone, you have to move around slyly. What you need to do first is confront him. Look, I know your probably objecting to that idea times a million, BUT it is the only way. Next time you see him and he says something or does something to you that you do not approve of, I want you to tell him exactly this, "Wow_____(his name goes on the line), I thought that a person such as you would have better things to do with your time than make fun of me. Your life must be real shallow."
