The rave gave us not only the escape, but proof that we could be happy for no reason at all. In that time, what we found was a world that was bright and good and popluated by people that loved you no matter who you were, where you were from, or what you looked like. As soon as you walked through the door...you just became a "raver." You stopped being a stranger and instantly became a friend.
That's what we found in 1992. It's still there today...you just have to want to see it.
