I was born a normal human, but was destined for a darker fate. Stolen by a woman, I refer to her as Mistress, as a small child, I've been forced to serve her evil wishes ever since I can remember. There was no purpose to my life other than to avoid her rath, and believe me, that was difficult the majority of the time.
Then I met a woman Mistress absolutely despised, Tsukiyo Suiren, the Moonlit Water Lily. She was beautiful like mistress, but more pure, more divine. She was a master o the wind and ice elements, while very talented in the arts. But for some reason she's reborn every twelve years, for the other eleven years she lies in hibernation on the moon.
Mistress made a pact with someone powerful years before and had the Law created to bind me and Suiren. We were to forever oppose one another until one of us eventually died. Unfortunately for Mistress, I fell in love with the Lady Suiren, and she I. Since then, the one year Suiren blesses the Earth with her presence is both wonderful and absolute misery.
Maybe this year will be different. Maybe this year....
