I don't think you quite understand. Even if I put my fish to Barret's tank, I wouldn't be able to sell nor trade them. It doesn't work that way. Once you put a fish in your tank and click "Save" you can no longer sell/trade it.

I'm sorry, but my Kiki isn't for sale/trade because it simply can't be sold nor traded.

I'm sorry, but aquarium fish cannot be taken out of the aquarium to sell/trade.
