And he's having a character crisis right now.

Aside from the MMO aspect, the second reason I made it was because that person and I liked to do
crossovers and were always stumped on how to get everyone to meet and what world would it take
place on, etc, so I was like Hey, have them all die. Problem solved. Also, I only wanted to play
certain characters and had trouble getting them away from the other people in the game that I didn't
like. Well, I could just have my favorites get killed. They weren't worried about their missing loved
ones because those people were still alive, etc. Problem solved. Also, it was hard to crossover
characters who came from different times. I made it so there is no sense of time in the Afterworld,
so someone from the future could be there with someone from the ancient past. Problem solved.

It was made for an RP with someone who is no longer a friend of mine. I liked MMO's because of the
3D universe, especially when I played Perfect World, it was such an awesome environment to roam
around in but the actual game was hard to play alone. MMO's are meant to be played with big groups
of people so I could never get very far because I didn't have a bunch of friends to go with me and I can't
get along with people. So I could never be high level and whatever. Allods was the last straw for me because
I got really far in there, and then it stopped all of my game progress with "Raids" which you cannot
start until X number of people are in your group. So I had to just stop playing because the game basically
just said, "You can't play anymore because you don't have any friends."

So I took the things I liked about MMO's and put them into an RP. Also, the friend at the time was really
into powerhouse characters and she tended to get a little bit carried away. I made the stat system to
help her give her characters weaknesses. She seemed to not mind the stat part but never wanted to
do the leveling up or the dice game part. Another friend IRL had fun setting the stats and playing with
the random numbers but we didn't get far with it.
