I did all I could. I told her everything I needed to tell her, but somehow it still didn't feel like enough. She went peacefully and I hope she's happy wherever she is, and I'm sure she is. I still can't stop crying about it though. We still have Zoey, our calico, but Mya was always the one who wanted to cheer you up when you're sad. I miss her so much.

No, I remember. No, Mya has cancer. Even the vet said there wasn't much anyone can do. Now she's so weak she can't walk or eat or drink. This is really one of my worst nightmares coming true.

Apparently it can just sort of happen when you're tall and thin. It doesn't have to be during strenuous activity, it can just happen while sitting down, or sleeping, or eating or ANYTHING! A bit unfair, if you ask me. It's one thing to pop a lung because you push yourself too hard, but to have it be able to happen anywhere at any time because I'm a slender fellow is kind of a d**k move on Fate's part.

I don't remember exactly. It was something about the effect the painkillers could have on the lung as the tube was coming out, or something! LOL, I honestly couldn't say, I wasn't really paying attention to the reason as much as I was bracing myself for the removal itself! Now I like to think I'm a pretty tough individual, but THAT felt like being stabbed in the ribs in reverse!

Eh... I ain't gonna lie, it WAS kind of nasty, but the worst part is, when they remove it (no joke) they can't give you any pain killers, and they have to rip it out REALLY fast to keep the lung where it is, and then stitch up the hole directly after that. I spent THAT portion of our little program hobbling in a circle for the next five minutes waiting for the sting to go away.

I'm certain of it. After all, I wouldn't want to believe in a god who didn't take care of the kitties. As for me, I'll be back to normal in a month's time from what I was told. At least I don't have that damned tube stuck in through my ribs to reinflate the lung anymore. That was the worst of it.
